Whatsapp so has given many updates and launched many new features in 2022. In this article, we are going to cover WhatsApp's top 10 features. Some features are already launched and some are going to launch and some are features launched before beta testing. But tell me in the comments comment which features you know and which you did,t know.
Top 10 Whatsapp New Features:
1. Voice message playback speed
After this feature, someone sends you a long voice note you can listen to dual speed. if you single tap here on voice message and you can listen to it on 1.5 speed and double-tap you can listen to it on 2 speed. mean you can listen to a 5 minutes voice message just in 2.5 minutes. It is very useful, do try it.
2. keep Chat Archived
This feature was earlier as well but is a slight update. first, when you hide any chat or group if used to go in archived to tap and hold and goes to archived. But whenever the personal message you again the chat comes out automatically. But after this update, you get a new option as you click on the archived option click on three dots and go to the archived setting and you get an option ( Keep Chats Archived ) to enable this option after enabling it if you archived someone so even if the person messages you again the chat won't visible outside and neither you get to see how many messages the person is sending and there will be no message on the screen but as you enable the option the 'Archived' option will be visible on the top.
3. Send Mute Video
If you want to send someone a video that has so much noise in the background and you want to mute the audio so simply after selecting the video, you get to see a 'Volume' icon Click on it the video will get muted and you can send mute video to anyone the same way you can mute any video and upload it to status this feature has also been updated recently maybe you know about this.
4. New Call Screen Design
Earlier the layout of WhatsApp calls was something like the red colour icon in the centre however, the earlier design was something like this but now the WhatsApp calls layout is very amazing everything is at the bottom very useful in single-hand usage swipe up to add other people in the group to make a group call the design is very unique.
5. View Once
The Multi-device support feature this feature has launched recently but it is available only on Beta testing Click on 3 dot Click on the linked device and here you will get a multi-device beta Click to join the beta After that, you can use WhatsApp on 5 more devices other than your phone like computer portal and it is not important to sign in to WhatsApp on your primary phone the internet and phone should be If WhatsApp is off in your primary phone and the internet is also off and even your phone is off even then WhatsApp will keep working on your other devices.
6. Multi-Device Support
This feature is also amazing. If you send a photo or video to someone but you can want to delete it just after viewing it once so simply select the media and select 'view once' and send it now, as the person will open the media he/she will view the media only once and as the person tap back the photo and video will get deleted from WhatsApp and storage the same way it will delete from your WhatsApp.
7. Photo Upload Quality
One more feature has launched recently which I liked the most photo upload quality this feature is available on the 'storage and data option' On the bottom, you will get Upload photo quality Or photo upload quality Click on it here you get 3 options.
1. Auto recommended
2. Best quality
3. Data saver
On the data saver option, the quality will be low like early and if you chose ''best quality'' you can send the photo in high quality except for this, if you chose 'recommend' The photo will be slightly average can be low depending on your network speed, however, I will recommend to chose ''best quality'' if you want to receive and send photos in high quality you can check this feature.
8. Join Missed Group Call
After this feature If someone joins you in a group call and you couldn't receive the phone at that time so you will get a join link in the call option like this click on it to join the group call if the call is hasn't ended then if your friends are talking later as well you can join in between the call like zoom meeting video call app or Google meet app Same like that you get the option in WhatsApp as well Even if you invite someone and he didn't join during that time he can join later you won't have to call him, again and again, this is really useful.
9. Chat backup encryption
The chat you back up on WhatsApp either daily, weekly, or monthly goes to google drive and google drive doesn't have encryption if someone gets the backup data everyone can access it But WhatsApp is going to provide encryption in the backup yes there will be chat encryption on your backup as well no one can access it however, I didn't get this feature yet but as soon as the feature will launch and I get it I will write a dedicated article on it and will tell you what are its advantages and disadvantages.
10. Flash Call Whatsapp Verification
This feature has also not been launched yet however, it is going to launch very soon now after this feature now you verify your WhatsApp account through OTP after this feature, you will be able to verify it with a call many of you will say still they verify with call the verify you do through a call just provide you with the OTP and the same OTP comes in SMS too but as you will choose the flash call feature you will receive a call maybe you won't even be able to receive it and your WhatsApp will get verified or as you will receive the call will be cut and the WhatsApp account will verify automatically.
